XAT 2017 is a pen-and-paper based management aptitude test usually conducted in the first week of January every year select candidates of India for MBA Admissions under Top B-school in India. XAT 2017 Result
XAT result is announced online along with the official cutoff. To check results and to download individual score card one need to visit xatonline.net.in. One can download the score card by entering registration number and password. XAT result 2017 was announced on 21st January 2017.
How To Check XAT 2017 Results Online
It’s quite easy to check XAT result and the whole process does not take more than 2 or 3 minute. The process is almost similar to the admit card downloading process. Here is the easy steps you need to follow to check XAT result online-
- Go to the official website of XAT i.e. http://xatonline.net.in
- Click on the link “Results or Download XAT 2017 Score Card”. A new page would be opened.
- Enter your XAT registration number and password there.
- Now download the XAT score card and save it for future use.
XAT 2017 Cutoff
XAT cutoff change every year. There are two types of cutoffs- sectional and overall. Cutoffs are based on several things like the relative performance of candidates in the test, difficulty level of the test, number of candidates participating in the test and many more. In any test, a candidate should focus on maximizing his/her potential score. Generally, the cutoff ranges anywhere between 85–90 % ile. The overall XAT 2017 cutoff for BM is 96, HR is 92.55 and GMP is above 22 marks. Candidates who have cleared both sectional and overall cutoff only shortlisted for GD/ PI. 
XAT 2017 Selection Process
The final selection process of XAT exam starts after declaration of result. It is conducted individually at the B-schools. There is no common counselling round held to select the candidates. The short listed candidates are asked to appear for Group Discussion (GD),Essay Writing and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. And the final selection is made on the basis of the performance in XAT and GD & PI rounds. Like other management tests, XAT does not consider past academic records of a student for admissions.
